Sun 29th Oct: Last October Puppy Party

Albie has a lovely new family

There are so many lovely photos in the set by Simon Li  Puppy Adoption Day 29th Oct 2023, but the best of all has to be the adoption of little Albie, now a fully-fledged family member.   Albie is one of a litter of nine we took in and they all have wonderful personalities, helped along by their foster families who are so important to us, and to the puppies under their care.  If you would like to become a foster for HKDR, please complete the form at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/volunteer/fostering/. We provide everything that's needed in terms of food, bed, bowls and everything else, all we ask is that foster families attend vet appointments as needed, and the Whiskers N Paws Puppy Parties for puppies.

Both of the golden retrievers have now gone to their new homes, and we had so many great offers that it was really a matter of those who came first.  We now have a waiting list for the next intake of this breed, so at least I know I won't need to look far when any GRs turn up.

Sometimes we get adoption requests that specify that they want a mongrel, mixed breed or village dog, and of course we have plenty of those, all ages, colours and size.  I love getting these questionnaires as you can imagine.  Dog rescue work would be very easy if we had an endless supply of poodle puppies and golden retrievers, but that's not how life works.
