Radish is a sweet young boy |
I just want to correct a mistake a made about new Tai Po "girl" Radish, because he's a boy! Regardless of that little error nothing else has changed as he is a beautiful, sweet and playful young dog, so hurry over if you want to meet him, and the other two new arrivals Liz and Pearl, both of whom are still female!
I asked Eagle, who's the Ap Lei Chau staff member usually in charge of taking the photos of the dogs, to create a new grid showing them with bodies rather than just heads. I know it's very hard to guess at what a dog looks like when you can't see all of it, and really even the full photos don't give an indication of size or personality. Now that the dogs have all settled and are no longer wondering where they are, we're seeing those initially shy ones coming out and playing, like the two beautiful terrier types Ruby and River.
So far there's only the full body grids for the "R" group completed, and the "T" intake will be shared soon.
I know the weekend is going to be busy again because we already have adoption interviews arranged, so if you don't want to miss this opportunity please start by completing the questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/
This Sunday is Halloween, and it's unusual for the actual day to coincide with a weekend so make the most of it by heading over to Sai Wan Ho Waterfront Park for the street party that's taking place over Saturday and Sunday, with workshops (Cantonese only) and other happenings, and all dog-friendly of course. You can find all the details on Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR).
