Sat 23rd Oct: Quite a day!

Reggie (l) and Ronnie

I'm going to start by listing the foster puppies that found homes without having had to come back to the Homing Centre or attend the Sunday Whiskers N Paws party. In most cases they were taken for fostering as soon as they arrived, so my memory of them will be in the form of a photo taken at that time, and maybe updates from time to time.  So here are the lucky puppies: Jack and Jill (going to a new home together), as are Nettie and Nino.  Nessa (same litter as the other two "N" pups), Alison and Reggie have to leave their siblings behind to strike out on their own, and hopefully their other halves will be also chosen soon.   (Ronnie and Nancy will be at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday if anyone would like to meet them). Big thanks to the foster parents for a wonderful job done, and to the adopters for offering forever homes to these little orphans.
Last pup Nancy will be at Whiskers N Paws

Ruskin was the first to leave

As anticipated it was non-stop at the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, and there were several adoptions, with other families wanting to come back again on Sunday with their own dogs or children/spouses to have a second meeting.  I have to admit I would find it hard to choose just one as I wanted to take home a whole group of them myself on Friday!
I loved Rubix too!

Rocco was a popular boy today

It was also quite busy at the big Tai Po Homing Centre with several dogs under consideration, or in trial homes with resident dogs or cats that have to approve.  I love posting adoption news for these larger adults as it's so much harder to find homes for big dogs than the smaller ones.

As a reminder please complete the adoption questionnaire in advance of any visit to meet the dogs or puppies.  Once again we expect to be very busy at the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre as we already have several families either coming back or visiting for the first time, so please wait for a reply to the questionnaire (and check your Spam inbox if you're waiting).  I will try to respond immediately if possible.  The questionnaire can be found at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/
