Fri 8th Oct: Open every single day of the year, no exceptions

There wasn't much happening today as far as adoptions were concerned, for very obvious reasons if you live in Hong Kong and experienced the rain, particularly at our Tai Po Homing Centre which is always a target for typhoon weather.  The heavy winds are also creating flying debris, so I imagine the dogs are staying in their shelters as much as possible.  I know my Lamma walking group was down to three dogs only, with even loyal stalwarts Rag and Griffin choosing to stay at home rather than face the rain (which wasn't too heavy when I started out).

In case you're wondering, as it's a question that's still asked every day, yes, the Homing Centres are open because we have to be there for the dogs, but we're not expecting a huge number of adopters to turn up.  If you're a volunteer and are able to make it, please come, because at times like this you're very much needed.

According to the HK Observatory things should be easing by Saturday afternoon so we'll be at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday, 2pm to 4pm, as always.
