Olive-now-Bailey on the right |
Getting straight down to business (and by that I mean adoptions) the rush to take home the newest small dogs continued, and it wasn't even just the group of nine either. The happiest adoption of all was that of previously-stray Olive, and with her new name of Bailey she's already making herself at home and doing incredibly well. What an amazing little dog she is, a real star.
Ellis going home |
One of the new poodles went home today, and we have a lot of interest in the second one as well, a white poodle called Ethan. I suspect he'll be in a new home before the weekend's out.
Corgi girl Elsa and her new family |
Two corgi girls were also adopted, and again I think the remaining corgi boy will be gone by Friday.
Another lucky corgi Esme |
With all of the interest in the new small dogs I don't want to forget about the puppies or the larger adults at our Tai Po Homing Centre. All four of the new "L Sisters" litter have gone to foster homes, and you can meet all of those ready for adoption now at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, or at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday, 2pm to 4pm. You can check out photos and videos of all of the Ap Lei Chau dogs and puppies at hkdr_eagle and a mix of both Homing Centre hopefuls, training tips and lots of other great content at Happy Woof. Our own Facebook page has all of the up-to-date news and information about what's happening as well as great photos and videos of our dogs Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) and of course not forgetting @hkdr_official on Instagram.
Submissions for our 2022 Cube Calendar have now closed so we can get everything to the printers by the deadline. Thank you for your support!
