Sun 9th Sept: Lucky dogs and little pups

Good girl Rum, have a great life!

I'm just going to run through the adoptions for today without any introduction, starting with puppy Rum's pre-arranged pick up from our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre.

Dudley has a lovely new family

 That was followed by poodle Dudley and labrador Daffy both being ex-breeder dogs that came to us as part of a large group.

We still have the small-sized and very sweet chow chow pair of Jerry and Jewel, and while I wouldn't normally describe chow chows like this these two are really happy and playful dogs.  In fact there's a third, also a very small-sized girl, so I think these mini chow chows must be a new trend.  Chow Mein is recovering from eye surgery, but all three are really worth considering if you are one of the many looking for small sized young dogs to adopt.

I can also include a few of our mixed breed puppies in the smaller sized category, as siblings Nattie and Frisbee are already six months old and haven't grown very much at all.  The same is true for little Jack, now five moths old but still looking very much like a young puppy because of his size.  Dimple is yet another mixed breed puppy who won't grow to be anything larger than medium.

Star was the lucky Tai Po puppy of the day, although we had a lot of visitors and potential adopters so I'm expecting to be posting about other dogs leaving soon.  Labrador Buster, who isn't one of the new ex-breeder group as it happens, went for a trial adoption, while gentle malamute girl Zara came with her volunteer foster parents to Whiskers N Paws and proved herself to be incredibly laid-back and very easy.  Eric Tang was the volunteer photographer at Whiskers N Paws today and as always he produced a wonderful set which you can see here, including the adoption photo of today's lucky puppy Plum:  Puppy Adoption Day 9 September 2018
