Sat 8th Sept: Jinks and Jonty hit gold

Will sweet Raisin be as lucky as sister Rum on Sunday?
I'm going to stick my neck out and predict a very busy Sunday judging from the enquiries I've been getting, and that can only be a good thing.  It's been a while since we had baby pups at Whiskers N Paws too, and now that we have several ready to make their first appearance I'm hoping it will also be their last.  We will be starting the day anyway with one adoption when Rum is picked up from the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, and maybe her good luck will rub off on sister Raisin. If it's raining we'll be indoors, and if it's dry the puppies can enjoy their playtime out on the terrace, but either way we'll be there.

Jinks and Jonty, brothers for ever
The best news of today was the double adoption of brothers Jinks and Jonty, and some of you may remember them as young puppies when they were part of the "J" litter at Whiskers N Paws.  While the siblings were adopted one by one, the two boys ended up at Tai Po where they grew into very handsome young adults.  Now their time has come and it's always the best feeling to see two dogs adopted as a pair.  They're not double the trouble, they are half the work as they keep each other company and use up their extra energy by playing together.
Ziggy looking bright and happy

The "Figgy" puppy I took out of AFCD kennels on Friday already looks like a completely different character from the scared and timid boy he was.  Now Ziggy he has a big smile on his face as if he realises he is safe and with friends.
