The "meat" puppies on Sunday |
It already seems to be quite quiet in terms of traffic and people, and I should probably remind everyone once again that Whiskers N Paws will be closed for Chinese New Year so there will be no puppy afternoon this coming Sunday. It's very rare that I get a whole weekend off and while I'm going to enjoy that part of it, it does mean a whole two weeks when the puppies won't be seen or adopted. Unless, that is, you would like to meet any in their foster homes, so take another look at the photos
Puppy Adoption Day 11 February 2018 and let Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com know if you are interested in arranging a meeting.

Baby Fargo has a big uncle to look after him |
The three-footed baby golden retriever was taken home by his new family, and we will keep in touch to see how things progress. At the moment he is too young for any surgery, or really to have any sort of prosthetic made.
I want to give another shout-out for corgi-cross Olive, still waiting for that forever home after two years. Olive is shy with strangers but don't let that fool you, as she is an incredibly sweet girl who loves attention, back scratches and cuddles once she knows you. She also loves going for walks and is very good on a leash, she's great with cats and is an all-round very easy and well-behaved little dog. She would prefer not to be in a home with young children as their high-speed moves and energy make her nervous, but she is never aggressive and has never even attempted to bite, not even in the most fearful of situations (for her). Olive likes women more than men but is fine with everyone once she feels safe. Can this Year of the Dog also be Olive's Year? If you would like to meet Olive please contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com to arrange a meeting.

I would love to adopt Olive myself, but it's not possible |
