Weds 13th Dec: Adoptions first, and more new puppies!

Grainger - 3rd time lucky!

We had another surprise delivery of four small puppies today, but for a change I want to mention some very happy adoptions first.

Three of these were special for different reasons, starting with Grainger, the gorgeous poodle-y boy who had been adopted and returned three times before, but not for any of the usual reasons.  No, Grainger's "problem" was that he was too happy, too energetic and too free-spirited to fit in with the quiet lifestyle of his previous homes.  This time round it has to be forever!

Sweet, sweet Jessie

Jessie is another super-sweet poodle who would welcome every single person by rolling on her back to have her tummy tickled.  Sadly she's not in the best of health but today she left our Kennedy Town Homing Centre with her lovely new parents, and we're all so happy for her.

Yaddle is going to love her new life

Yaddle was also desperately in need of a home, as she tended to be picked on by the other dogs and wasn't confident enough to be invited to join their games.  Today Yaddle and her big ears left the Homing Centre for the last time, and now she can have all the love and attention for herself.

Rennie and family

Unlike the three just mentioned, Rennie was an easy choice, a sweet and beautiful puppy who settled right in.   She has a big brother to help, but puppies adapt very easily to new homes and environments and Rennie jumped straight in with the playing.

Romy, Rufus and Jack

Rennie's (assumed) siblings who are still staying at our Kennedy Town Homing Centre are Romy and Rufus, and today they welcomed a new friend in Jack, one of the Bucket Pups who was returned from his foster home.   All three are very happy and friendly puppies too.

All of these pups are now in foster homes

As the "F" babies were being picked up by their respective foster parents, four more were dropped off at North Street, Kennedy Town and they are now the "E" intake.  One looks very similar to the "F" litter, while the others don't seem to be related in any way.   They're all small sized so we don't expect them to grow to be large adults.  We still need one more foster home for two of these newbies, so please complete the foster form at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/volunteer/fostering/, or email Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com if you are already registered as a foster parent.

As always for adoptions please complete the questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/.
