Sun 10th Sept: Little or large, who can tell?

Gorgeous Rufus
It was a very busy afternoon at Whiskers N Paws, so much so that it was almost six o'clock by the time we packed up and I rushed to get back to Lamma with the two older puppies, Rufus and Jerry, and two youngsters Laura and Harvey.  Paris is now hovering between being a young puppy and becoming a doglet at almost six months, and as much as she enjoys the beach and all-day playing with friends, she needs to learn the necessary life skills such as walking on a leash and what living in a human home is like.
Paris is almost 6 months now

Troy is the perfect family addition
It was finally Troy's time as he found his forever home and is now part of a lovely family.  It's been a long time coming, but at least Troy was in a foster home while waiting and that makes all the difference. This is exactly what I need for Paris right now if anyone can offer her a space and some training.
Lucky baby China

All of the four baby pups who were picked up from AFCD on Friday went their separate ways today, and I hope we'll get to see how they turn out later.  When puppies are so young it's really impossible to know what they will look like or how big or small they will be as adults, and it's a question that we're asked every Sunday and to which the reply is always the same: we have no idea.  You need to be prepared for a large dog, but may be surprised when it stops growing at medium.
Mandy seems like she will stop at medium
I don't think Hazel will be large
Joey may grow to be a very large adult

Having so many puppies of all sizes gave volunteer photographer Eric Tang plenty to do, and the results are really lovely Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) added 159 new photos to the album Puppy Adoption Day 10 September 2017 — at Whiskers N Paws
