Sun 15th Aug: Adoptions and another potential arrival

Chippy was the first to go home

Getting straight down to what's always the most important subject of any day, adoptions.  As expected it was a very busy two hours at Whiskers N Paws with many beautiful photos from Eric Tang  Puppy Adoption Day 15th August 2021 as a result.  Like any good party it didn't end at the given time but moved on to another venue, our own Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, where another puppy went home.  In fact at least one more will be picked up on Monday after time ran out at Whiskers N Paws, and that's Carly.

Aggie was adopted from the Homing Centre

Little pom Cubby didn't have to wait for a new home either, as he was adopted today, leaving another potential adopter disappointed too.

Cubby was almost in-and-out

We urgently need donations of newspaper and towels for both Homing Centres and Lamma, especially after the ongoing rain which makes drying washed items so difficult.  Please drop at either of our Homing Centres if you have any to spare, thank you.

The lab is apparently 7 months old

We were asked to accept a young labrador, but the surrender form had a lot of information in Chinese which I had to ask Iris to translate for me.  It seems the dog has hip and/or leg problems, so we'll have to wait to see how serious that is when the seven month-old puppy comes on Monday.
