Weds 10th April: Schnauzers large and small

Lucas is a beautiful boy for sure
It's good to know that it's not only the purebreeds that are in demand as a lot of people have asked about our "Old English Schnauzer" Lucas, and as always we're going to have to choose just one home even though there may be several that are suitable.  I suspect the name schnauzer has meant that a few potential adopters haven't realised that Lucas is a large dog, and maybe the real schnauzer that is coming from AFCD on Thursday might be more suitable.  This is a female, also two years old and a nice-looking dog from the photo.

Along with that schnauzer there's another corgi girl coming, older at nine years and apparently she doesn't like men, plus the inevitable puppies. Photos and details will be available once we have the dogs, but in the meantime we have got so many puppies it's starting to get a bit worrying. As a reminder here are the photos from last Sunday's Whiskers N Paws afternoon  Puppy Adoption Day 7 April 2019 , and there are many more who are now old enough to join the puppy party this coming Sunday.

If you are looking for a puppy to join your family please complete the adoption questionnaire on our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com (under Adopt) so we can recommend the most suitable match.  Puppies vary in personality as well as looks and size, so it's important that all of these points are considered before choosing.

If you already have a dog you might be interested in a dog-related event taking place this weekend.  There will be some free talks throughout the day as well as gifts and games.

Our HKDR Positive Partners 老友狗狗 Trainer Team have prepared a lot of games and gifts for the "Hellodog Fest 2019" this weekend. Come to meet us and our dog ambassadors!
