Sat 13th April: Hello to the dogs at the Hellodog Fest

It wasn't the best weather we could have hoped for but there were still plenty of people at the Hellodog Fest in Kowloon today, and I have to say a huge thank you to our two volunteer Positive Partner trainers, Eurica and Alice, for being there and helping with everything.  Eurica was also the main organiser for the event so special thanks to her for all the hard work, and if you want to see what's going on you can also visit on Sunday, 12am to 6pm, at the West Kowloon Nursery Park.  The dogs volunteering will be Jade, Gypsy, Molly and Finn.

I'm not sure if it's the weather or the fact that it's almost Easter, but we had few visitors and no adoptions today even though we have so many gorgeous dogs and puppies waiting to be chosen.

In fact we have even more now after the arrival of Mochi at our Tai Po Homing Centre, a chow chow cross who was no longer wanted by her family when a human baby arrived.  Mochi is beautiful and a sweet-natured two year-old, and we'd love her to be able to join a new family before too long.
We want Mochi to find a new home

Also desperate to find their forever families, we have so many puppies now and we need loving homes.  Some of the puppies are going to be large-sized as adults, others medium and a few small, so we have something for everyone.  We also have puppies returning from foster homes where they have been since they were very young babies, so even if you can't adopt please let us know if you are able to foster.  Contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com, or come and talk to us at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday afternoon, 2pm to 5pm.  As a reminder here is last Sunday's album of photos Puppy Adoption Day 7 April 2019 , and we have more new puppies to introduce this week.
