Sun 7th April: Now the Flag Day's over

Cello went straight from Tai Po to school
Cello was picked up from Tai Po today and brought straight to Whiskers N Paws to join the Positive Partners training class, not something that usually happens but Cello is very familiar with the place and had a good time playing with the other dogs on the terrace.

It seems like a long time since we were able to use the outdoor space for all of the puppies later on, but the weather was perfect for games outside and everyone had great fun.  Eric Tang was once again our volunteer photographer for the afternoon and as always there are great shots here  Puppy Adoption Day 7 April 2019 — at Whiskers N Paws (Hong Kong)

Helen's litter are going to be quite large when grown
Helen was the first of her litter to be adopted, while older puppy Bumpy was taken for a trial (he has to get on with a very large cat).

Earlier in the day two younger puppies were adopted as a pair from our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, so Socks and Boris have become brother and sister even though they aren't actually related.

Another one of the ex-breeder poodles also went home today, and with Ginger's departure the remaining few were moved out of quarantine upstairs as their skin infection is no longer contagious.  These are such sweet dogs and perfect for any family.

After the build up to our Flag Day on Saturday and the event now being over bar the counting, we can get back to our usual business.  That doesn't mean there aren't other events in the planning pipeline as we have the comedy evening Raise the Woof on 30th April (not long to go) and one for the dogs with their humans next month on Saturday 25th May.  Details of both events will be posted very soon so watch out for those.
