Sun 10th July: Not a lot to report

Penny is a wonderful puppy, very sweet and easy
July is always a very quiet month and this year is no exception, so apart from puppy Tim going to a foster home there weren't any changes in numbers and I have to start thinking about what I can do with the older puppies who at five months are too old to be kept in a small puppy area.  It's not fair on them to be confined when they need to be spreading their wings, so to speak, with space to run and play, not to mention learning the basics of walking on a leash and how to sit on command.
Domino loves playing

I have two particularly in mind, both wonderful girl pups, and they are best friends Domino and Penny.  I know a lot of families go on long holidays abroad for the summer but there must also be many who don't, and I'm appealing to any one of those "staycationers" to take in a four-legged guest for the duration of the quiet period.  If you can help please let me know by emailing sally@hongkongdogrescue.com

At the other end of the size sale is puppy Suzie, who is still very small in comparison to her group and subsequently kept getting knocked over and pushed to the side during the afternoon.  We had to keep rescuing her and putting her inside the pen for a bit of a break, so I would really like a foster, or a home of course, for this little girl.
