Tues 19th March: Adoption and fostering, we need both

Things don't seem to be going well on the property search front, and the frustration is building as we face being in a very difficult situation regarding space.  Just as we thought we had found a solution, today the prospective new landlord starting adding and changing previously-agreed points even as contractors were at the site measuring up.  Finding anywhere that allows dogs is hard enough, but even when that's not an issue there are so many other things which crop up during negotiations.

Patsy enjoys home comforts

We also have an urgent need for a new home for Staffie-bulldog Patsy, now that she's fully recovered from surgery that helped her breathe properly.  Patsy is a very affectionate companion, six years old, and looking for a home with comfy sofas and lots of human company.  She also loves her walks, but being someone's special girl is what she wants more than anything.  If you like this kind of dog, please complete the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/.

We also have some dogs that should be very popular with those who read my blog to find out about new arrivals.  Today's poodle girl is estimated to be around four years, very bouncy and sweet.  Her name is now Zoe.

Terrier Zeb it just a year old, while wire-haired dachshund Zilla is three years.  The ages are just estimates by the vet, but the younger dogs are easy to assess.

The grid shows the six dogs that came in over the past couple of days, and I want to mention Joss again as he's a lovely boy, also young and very friendly.

Jamie and Julian are also lovely, although a bit older, and we would consider foster homes for them if no permanent home is offered. If you can foster, please complete the form at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/volunteer/fostering/, and remember that we provide everything that you need and all we ask is for space in your home and company plus exercise for the dogs.
