Fri 1st March: Starting a new month

Gorgeous Griffin

With our Homing Centres full of highly adoptable dogs of all ages and size, I want to help share the Kennedy Town residents today, as we have so many arriving all the time.  You can take a look at the photos here  Dogs available for adoption in Kennedy Town Homing Centre with some details of the most recent additions here.  Yesterday I also share photos of other dogs that are in line to be sent to us, so please take a look at that post if you want to see more.

PIERRE, 2 year-old French bulldog boy, he is full of energy and super active! He likes to play all the time, make sure you won’t have a dull moment at home.
PENNY, 2 year-old mongrel girl (medium size). Penny has the softest fur and beautiful smile. She is gentle and like being petted (wagging tail when you come closer!)
PETRA, 8 year-old Pekingese mix girl. Petra is laidback and sweet
PANSY, 3 year-old Poodle girl. Pansy is adorable and clingy, also she is very playful with other dogs. She could be a great companion to any family.
Poodle Petey

PETEY, 2 year-old Poodle boy. This young boy is affectionate, he loves attention and like sticking with humans.
PAULIE, 3 year-old Poodle boy. Paulie is friendly and gentle, he likes to lie on the bed and wait for your cuddles! How can you resist his charms and not fall in love with him

Puppy Simon

If you're interested in meeting any of them, or want more information on any dogs that catch your eye, please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/.

I do need to add that not all homes are suitable to have a dog, and volunteering is a great way to spend as much time with dogs as you have to spare, without the commitment of having one full time.  To learn more about volunteering, please go to www.hongkongdogrescue.com/volunteer/,

I had also mentioned that we were expecting a Border Collie to be brought to our Tai Po Homing Centre, and this is a breed that's always popular, although not all homes are suitable for a breed that's not only highly intelligent, meaning mental stimulation is vital, but also has the stamina to run for miles every day. This is not a dog for a small city apartment, or a casual stroll round the block.

  1. Simon looks like the dogs that were from the Stanley Barracks a few years ago. All the dogs look great!
