Tues 13th Feb: Receiving Lai See

With the first two days of the week being a write-off as far as normal business was concerned, I'm having to pack everything into the three remaining work days. Still, the time at home gave me the opportunity to carry out some repairs and other small jobs that I usually don't get round to, because there's always a long list of pending tasks.

I hope that our Red Packets came in useful, and for those who received Lai See as well as giving, we'd be very happy and grateful to accept these as donations.  Regardless of any holidays we have expenses every day that need to be covered, and that includes the dreaded vet bills which add up to a large amount each month.

Although we always have visitors to our Homing Centres, particularly at Kennedy Town, there were no adoptions to write about today.  I'm expecting the holiday to continue until the weekend for many people, if not beyond, but there have at least been several lucky dogs that have left to start their new lives.

Our Sunday Puppy Party will be back at the weekend, and older puppy Arlene has already returned to Whiskers N Paws after her short foster period.

We also have some puppies staying at our Tai Po Homing Centre, namely Nancy, Nolan and Nina.  You can see their photos on staff member Eagle's Facebook hkdr_eagle and Instagram pages, as well as many other great photos of dogs of all ages that are staying at our main Homing Centre.
