Weds 14th Oct: Yet more puppies

Just as the small-sized litter of nine are recovering in hospital or being tested for tick fever just in case, I got a message from AFCD Pokfulam that there were seven baby puppies there, three from one litter and four from another.  I couldn't say no of course, especially after being told they were still drinking milk, so Foster Coordinator Cindy once again had to find foster homes by the end of the afternoon, not easy when it was already late in the day but somehow she managed it. The three smaller black-and-white ones went to one home while the slightly older four were taken as pairs, and now they join the line of pups in foster who will soon be ready for adoption.

Puppies Tickle and Fanta moved to Whiskers N Paws to stay with Patti, whose sister Pippa had been adopted (photo), and all three are having a great time playing inside and running round the terrace.  Although we can't hold the Sunday Puppy Afternoons because of the social distancing rules, the puppies are there to meet and cuddle every day if you're shopping at the store, and available for adoption of course.

Please remember to start the adoption process by completing the questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

If you're able to foster young puppies please contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com so she can contact you as soon as we get more youngters in.
