Did you know that the first of October was a special day for black dogs? Apparently it is, and of course we love black dogs as much all others.
It was also the Mid-Autumn Festival of course, and I hope you all enjoyed whatever it is that you did to celebrate. Naturally our Homing Centres were open as always, as they are every single day of the year, although both Ap Lei Chau and Tai Po were quiet in terms of adoptions.
In fact September was much quieter overall than the previous few months, althought thirty one adoptions is still pretty good:

The four rescued baby puppies have become five, although one isn't too well after having been out in the open for so long. They will arrive at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre on Friday before going to their foster homes. They're only two weeks old at this point so it will be some time before they're old enough to be adopted, unless of course someone wants to take a pair and start very young.
