Sun 5th July: Back at Whiskers N Paws

Only Dixon is still available from this litter now
I wasn't at the Whiskers N Paws puppy afternoon myself as we only had a handful of puppies to show and willing volunteers to help with the enquiries, but I'm always following what's happening and who's going home.   The second of the three new black puppies was adopted but Dotty can't actually leave until she's been microchipped, and that's happening on Tuesday, while Sara went for a trial to see how the old dog already in the home would tolerate her.
Izzy arrived today and will take time to relax

In the meantime we had replacements on their way as a new four month-old girl, Izzy, arrived at Ap Lei Chau and two further black pups were sent to Tai Po and will be making their way to Ap Lei Chau on Monday.
New recruits on their way to Tai Po

I'm kicking myself for having jumped the gun by mentioning that Enzo would be going to a new home today, because it broke my own rule of not mentioning names until the paperwork is completed.  As it turned out the potential adopter changed her mind and Enzo is still on the available list.  That means that other dogs who are also in trial homes won't be named until their status is made permanent.
Bailey is the perfect age for a family with children

Also available and making his first appearance at Whiskers N Paws was very handsome older puppy Bailey.  He was perviously held back because of a stubborn case of tick fever, but luckily he was in a lovely foster home all the time he was sick.  Now ready to move on to a forever home Bailey is the perfect age for a family with young children as he's passed the puppy biting stage.
