Sat 18th July: Coming and going

Laura's stay at Tai Po was quite short
The second of the most recent intake from AFCD was adopted from Tai Po today, and if you're quick and very lucky you might be able to take one of the remaining two, Ciara and Posy.
Ciara

However, as fast as dogs leave we have others to take their place and today's new arrival is now called Jedi.  We also have another dog coming from AFCD on Monday, so you can see it really never ends.

Another trial adoption was also confirmed, that of beagle-cross Macy.  She just had to get along with the already-resident dog and obviously it worked out fine.
Macy has a forever home now

We had an emergency situation with the newly surrendered old poodle later in the day and he he had to be rushed to Acorn to see what the problem was.  Luckily it didn't turn out to be too serious, but the poor little guy is probably very stressed at losing his home.

We had a few families coming to our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre today asking if they could just play with the puppies, and although this was fine at our Whiskers N Paws puppy afternoons we really can't accommodate such visitors at our very small Homing Centre.  If you are interested in adopting please start by completing the questionnaire so we can let you know if we have what you're looking for.  It's at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

Thank you!
