Wallace was one of the lucky brothers |
I had a problem sorted out in the best way possible today when one of the two indistinguishable brothers, Wallace and Lester, was adopted. Wallace was the lucky one, and quite by chance the second adoption of the afternoon was the third brother Casper, who was one of the few foster pups having to be returned. So two out of three isn't bad, and the fact that they are five months old even better. Now I will know who the remaining black-and-tan boy is when I have to caption the Whiskers N Paws photos, although the baby black-and-tan litter leave with me with the same identification problem. I really don't know who is who so look forward to more adoptions.

Casper was a very lucky foster returnee |
We also had three wonderful Two Presents donations from birthdays, although only one Giant Cheque photo due to the fact that unfortunately once again a permanent marker was used and we couldn't erase the name or number. I think we will need to tie a whiteboard marker to the cheque somehow. So apologies to the two generous children who missed out, but my thanks are just as big.

Big thanks to Sidney for her Two Presents donation |

The "cheque" from Aarna is smaller but my thanks just as big |
Thanks also to Dani Bartlett for a really lovely set of photos from the afternoon, and you can take a look at them here

Wally looks happy enough after his flight |
It was a big day after a long flight for Tai Po puppies Wally and Logan (and I just realised we had a Wallace and a Wally adopted at the same time). They arrived in Canada to start their new life there, and as soon as they got out of their crates they started playing. You can see the lovely video on our Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) Facebook page, and for those of you worried about your dogs making any long haul flight you will see that they aren't that bothered about it.
