Fri 1st Jan 2021: Happy New Year!

I'm always a day behind when I write my blog, but it's not too late to wish you all a Happy New Year!

I wanted to share some puppy photos and went to Eagle's Facebook page only to realise that almost all puppies have been adopted or are still in their baby foster homes. In fact it seems that one of mother-dog Sarah's puppies has already been chosen for adoption, but Scamp will have to stay with his sister until they're old enough to be separated.

Also confirmed as staying in her foster home Senna is the lucky one of the pair who went to foster together as babies, and sister Saffy (below, in November) will be coming back to Ap Lei Chau.

Another terrier type who came as part of a surrendered dog family was given her official forever status today, after having been in a foster home for some time with her husky "husband". Toffee is the mother of Willa (now in foster) and Wonton (adopted).

Recently arrived at Tai Po and probably really enjoying the cold weather, Teddy the Alaskan Malamute was adopted today and has a wonderful new home.  We do still have another giant Malamute if anyone has the space for a huge dog.  Toffee's photo below shows his size.

At the other end of the size scale little Monty, the son of scruffy Muffy who is currently being fostered, was adopted from Ap Lei Chau.

We always have new dogs coming in from various sources and it's hard to keep track sometimes, but if you're interested in adoption please start by completing the questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/
