Sun 7th July: Perfect puppies

Diesel went home on Saturday
I forgot to mention that puppy Diesel was adopted from our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre on Saturday so I'll start with that good news, as well as chihuahua Pedro also finding his new forever family.
Pedro was in a sorry state when he first arrived from AFCD

We have many seriously adorable puppies, and there was a good selection at Whiskers N Paws today despite the rain which meant we couldn't bring any older ones.  However since Dorothy and Amy are full time guests at the store until they find their own homes, of course they were there, as well as Perkins (Dorothy's brother) who is probably the only older puuppy who's gentle enough to be able to play very sweetly with the youngsters.  He really is an exceptional puppy and I can highly recommend him to any family who are looking for a dog who would be good with cats, toddlers and other small (or big) dogs.
Wiki will be a smaller sized adult

Perkins is an exceptional puppy

Patch and Wiki are beautiful brothers who are five months old but still quite small, and they came from the same mystery source as all of our small-sized adults, as well as Judy, another very cute and very different-looking pup.  I'm amazed that Judy is still with us because it's been a couple of weeks at least since she arrived, whereas Patch and Wiki are quite new.
Judy is very cute and adventurous

Patch is also a very pretty boy

We didn't have any adoptions during the afternoon at Whiskers N Paws but we did get a wonderful TwoPresents donation plus an additional $800 in cash from Bryce,  who shared his birthday with the puppies.

Jimmy Tsang was our regular volunteer photographer today, and you can take a look at the lovely photos here Puppy Adoption Day 7 July 2019

Thank you Bryce for an amazing donation

Following on from my story about Lamma dog Madonna and her very strange behaviour on Saturday, she did exactly the same today but this time I didn't have hours to spare to go out looking for her so she had to spend the night in the storm drain where she had taken herself back to.  Luckily I don't have to worry about traffic or people where I live so I knew Madonna would be OK, but I'm completely bemused as to why she has suddenly decided to do this.  Now she's back home again and I won't be letting her join the walk today (Monday), and I hope she reverts to beng her normal self again soon.
