Sun 6th Aug: A late start to a busy afternoon

What a lovely family shot with Minimus
I thought it was going to be another quiet afternoon at Whiskers N Paws because it took a while for things to get busy, but in the end it went very well and four lucky pups left with new families, two adopted and two for fostering with a view to adoption.
Eden was also chosen to go to her forever home

Eden and Minimus, or Mini for short, had their adoption papers formally signed while Enzo and Elsa have to wait a while, but hopefully not too long.  As always, our HKDR trainer, Cactus, is ready to offer full support to all adopters and foster parents, so even those who have no experience of keeping dogs before don't have to worry.

Jimmy Tsang was our volunteer photographer today, and here is the full set of great shots
Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) added 86 new photos to the album Puppy Adoption Day 6 August
Don't forget you can meet the puppies any day of the week by arrangement if you can't make Sundays, and all of them are wonderful, sweet and happy characters.   Just email Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com for an appointment.

Thanks for the wonderful cash donation Reese!
Nine year-old Reese also came along to the puppy afternoon to share her birthday donations, and thank you for raising over $2000 for the HKDR dogs and puppies.
Bobsy was happy to leave the Homing Centre

It was packed at the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre and we really need to find a bigger space I think.   Poodle Bobsy was adopted while new "fake" bichon Frankie was taken home for fostering.  There will be more leaving in the next few days once the dust settles and Iris has time to sort through all of the adoption questionnaires, and for anyone who is interested in meeting the small dogs if it's possible to go during the week it is much easier for everyone.  Sundays are very busy and there's not much space unfortunately.
