I called Maya the Pot Poodle when I first took her from AFCD |
Finally, not one but two of our little "Red Dogs" left the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre today, Maya as a foster-in-training and the other with adoption in mind. So as not to give false hope I won't name the second dog just yet, but we are all desperately crossing our fingers that this works out.

Muggle was adopted today |
There was a regular easy-dog adoption too, that of Muggle the ex-breeder Jack Russell boy. The female, Hermione, is still waiting at the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre and it would be lovely if she could find a home too as she's really quite timid.
Up at the big Tai Po Homing Centre, it was doglet Nova who was the lucky one, although we had a few visitors interested in potentially adopting. There are many older puppies/young adults for consideration, all of them lovely, happy characters.

Nova and her 2 sisters came to us as tiny babies |
Of course I'm looking forward to Sunday's puppy afternoon at Whiskers N Paws, with great hope as always for the gorgeous pups I have, especially the slightly older ones, Cameron, Tanner, Paris and Troy. Troy actually left Lamma today to go to a foster home so he will already have started his training to walk on a leash and all of the basics. This is such a happy and joyful group of individuals, and they are all super friendly. Of course the new babies will also be making their debut, so there's someone for everyone.
