Fri 18th Aug: More happy adoptions

I went to Tai Po with our volunteer Projects Manager, Jamie (also doubling up as a Gala organiser and many other thing) to take a look at the renovation work so far, and was reminded of the huge scale of the site and operation. Work is progressing but it's slow and I'm impatient, and I want the dogs to be able to enjoy a nice environment as soon as possible.  In the meantime we still need Renovation Fosters to take in those dogs who have temporarily had to move out of their enclosures, so please contact eva@hongkongdogrescue.com if you can help.

Cameron, Tanner and sister Paris
I was very pleased to receive a message from puppy Cameron's fosters saying that they loved him and wanted to make his position permanent.  Apart from the obvious happiness over homing a puppy, I will no longer be faced with the problem of trying to distinguish him from his brother Tanner when I'm trying to caption the Sunday photo album.
Enzo is such a handsome boy

Another puppy who will be making his last visit to Whiskers N Paws on Sunday, and only to have his paperwork completed, is Enzo.  This stunning boy has finally got what he deserved, and all of the Sunday volunteers are thrilled to bits.

Ex-breeder beagle Anna was also adopted today, and we've been promised photos of her in her new home very soon.  I'm always happy for any dog who is chosen, but knowing the horrible life Anna had as a breeding machine and the physical damage it caused, I'm especially pleased.  There will be no more babies for her and only a lovely life ahead.

Of course there are many more puppies and adults dogs, small and large, who are waiting to have their names and photos posted as adopted.  Please take a look through the photos on our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com (under Dogs) and click on the photos for more information.  We try to keep the website up to date and the only profiles not shown are young puppies, as you can find these on our Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) Facebook page under Photos and the Whiskers N Paws Sunday albums.  We have puppies of all ages waiting for homes and you can meet them every Sunday afternoon, or by arrangement any other day.
Sweet Anna can put her past behind her
