Mon 14th Aug: Poodles on the move

Benji is a very cute and smaller sized puppy
It was a complete change from my usual Monday routine today, as rather than go to AFCD and Acorn I was booked for a photoshoot in Central at Studio Harcourt Hong Kong, accompanied by volunteer Jamie and two dogs, Coral and Benji.  A session with Studio Harcourt is one of the auction prizes that will be available at our "Diamond Dogs" Gala Dinner event, and it was suggested that showing an example of the black-and-white studio portraits would be helpful.

Maybe if not already in a home by then it will also be a life-changer for Coral and Benji, and although I'm not sure that they actually enjoyed their sessions, both behaved impeccably (thanks to Jamie and her shaking of the treat bag in the background to achieve desired results).
Not long to go now!
Coral is blind due to untreated dry eye

While I was busy elsewhere poodle Nobby was picked up for fostering, along with another Ap Lei Chau poodle, Teddy, as it was thought the two could be friends.  I'm really hoping that this will be the beginning of a new life for Nobby and Teddy, in the same way that another poodle, Maya, is starting her rehabilitation in another foster home.  I won't keep repeating what I have said so many times about poodles, but in the right home and with someone who understands the breed they are totally different from the uptight and angry dogs that we see arriving all too often.
