Mon 2nd May: KTHC is officially open, and there were 40 adoptions in April

With our Kennedy Town Homing Centre now officially open (we held a small ribbon-cutting ceremony today), the dogs are starting to come in from the various places they've been temporarily staying.  Beemer and Gyro moved over from the "Red Dog" Centre to join Tessa, Hunter and the five puppies already resident.

Of these five, the two younger ones are Dotty and Daniel, and they're such happy and confident little souls who are keen to play with the adult dogs, while Edgar, Evan and Esme prefer their own company.  I've missed the puppy cuddles that were so much a part of my life for many years, so it was good to be able to hold them again.

Gaia was picked up from Tai Po after being chosen the other day, while almost-sharpei Buddy also left the Homing Centre.

I hadn't even had a chance to mention two older dogs who had come to us last week, and now I'm happy to say that they already have a home to go to, and as a pair.  I'll write more about that later this week, but it was very lucky timing for Arnold and Georgia arriving at the same time that a couple of vacancies had opened up in one particular home.
