Sun 20th Feb: Thank you!

Austin looks comfortable in his foster home

Eighteen dogs were picked up from our Tai Po Homing Centre today after our call for cold-weather foster homes, with Plum also leaving from Ap Lei Chau to help over the two-plus weeks we'll be without anywhere for the smaller dogs and young puppies to stay.  Thank you to everyone who stepped up to help when asked, and please do keep sending in your offers of a temporary space for any of our dogs.  The weather is so cold and miserable, and even more so up in the hills of Tai Po.  Cindy is handling the foster enquiries for Ap Lei Chau and her email is foster@hongkongdogrescue.com, and you can also just email info@hongkongdogrescue.com with any enquiries and they will be directed to the appropriate person.

Coby at Tai Po

We were also very happy to find a foster home for new boy Coby, the dog who had to go straight to Acorn from AFCD (with a very short stop at Tai Po) because of his leg injury.   With a warm and dry home to stay in, we hope that this sweet boy will soon heal and be ready for his forever family.

You can meet Lucy and Lorna any day at WNP

Once again, and understandably, there was no photographer at the small puppy party at Whiskers N Paws, but I'm delighted to announce yet another Failed Foster family as Luther is confirmed as adopted. Luther is brother to Lucy and Lorna, the two current resident Whiskers N Paws sisters, and you can meet them any day of the week during store opening hours.
