Sun 2nd May: New dogs sorted and named

Casper going home

Beautiful puppy Casper was adopted before needing to go Whiskers N Paws in the afternoon, so it was just the two siblings who joined the party on the terrace.  Thanks to Elena Mathew for being both photographer for the afternoon session, as well as the photography coordinator, and here are the photos  HKDR Puppy Adoption Day 2nd 2021 at Whiskers n Paws:  If you want to know about any particular puppy please just send back the photo so we can identify who it is as it takes time to go through and label every photo.

Udon is a big boy now

Udon, one of "The Edibles" litter, was the lucky puppy taken home from Whiskers N Paws, while two of the "P Litter" were adopted as a pair directly from their foster home.  In an ideal world this would happen every time.

For some of the enquiries about puppy adoption I suggested instead that the potential adopters consider a smaller young adult, as we have quite a collection now at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre.  The six new arrivals went to ALCVC (Ap Lei Chau Vet Clinic) today and have all been given names for their vaccination cards.

Timo has a family now

Some more lucky dogs went home from our Tai Po Homing Centre namely Timo and Lola, two recent arrivals from AFCD Sheung Shui and very sweet dogs.

Shimmer

The Cheung Chau campsite dogs are also lovely, and they're settling in well.  They arrived with the names of Glitter, Shimmer, Sparkle and Shine (the mother) so we'll probably keep them as they are.
