Sat 7th Nov: Ask about our "Suitable Seniors"

For some reason, which had nothing to do with our own website, the adoption questionnaire wasn't available today.  I had been wondering why I wasn't receiving the usual number of applications and it wasn't until later in the day that I found out why.   There's nothing we can do about it from our end except wait for the problem to be resolved, but in the meantime you can still send an email to info@hongkongdogrescue.com if you're looking for a dog or puppy.

Unfortunately due to this glitch there was a shortage of visitors to the Homing Centres and only one puppy adopted from her foster home, or at least confirmed for when she's ready to leave.

Meanwhile it seems that the last two remaining puppies from their litter, Gabby and Grover, will be coming back to our Homing Centre from their foster home, and while it's sad in a way as it's always easier if puppies move directly from foster care to their new homes, at least meetings are easier to arrange and I know the two "G's" will have fun playing with their many new friends.

Thanks to the Happy Woof Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/HappyWoofHK/ I'm able to see updates and reminders of so many of the dogs that I have known over the years, many of them who started off as puppies with me on Lamma and some even going back to our Pokfulam Kennels days.  While it's true that not all of these dogs could be considered suitable for adoption, we still have seniors who would love to have a home of their own.  If you want a companion that still enjoys going for walks but is also happy to snooze on a soft bed, please ask about our "Suitable Seniors".
