Weds 4th Dec: Puppies with real noses!

Romeo is at Ap Lei Chau waiting for a family
Although the breed has been taken over in popularity by the shiba inu, French bulldogs are still one of the most asked-for breeds.  However as a warning, not only are they prone to many health issues including spinal weakness, if you ever leave Hong Kong you may not be able to take your Frenchie with you.

Biscuit needs a new home
As a result of the already-existing ban on many airlines, one Frenchie adopted from HKDR a few years ago is now in need of a new home as her family are leaving Hong Kong.  Biscuit is five years old and good with children, although again typically of the breed not good with other dogs.  She has already had surgery on her spine so care needs to be taken, but if you're interested in giving a new home to Biscuit please complete the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

We're taking in two groups of puppies from AFCD on Thursday and then again on Friday, so if anyone can foster a pair (preferably) please let Cindy know by emailing foster@hongkongdogrescue.com for details.  We provide everything you need in terms of food, bed, bowls etc, and the only thing we ask is that the puppy is brought to Whiskers N Paws every Sunday afternoon so all can be seen by potential adopters.  The foster parents don't have to stay for the three hours, we just need the puppies.
Meet gorgeous Ruby any day at our Ap Lei Chau Centre

As a reminder of puppies already available and waiting for homes, here's the link to last Sunday's puppy afternoon at Whiskers N Paws  Puppy Adoption Day 1 December 2019.  We'll be back again this coming Sunday afternoon of course so you can meet all of the puppies there, or in their current foster homes if they are lucky enough to be staying in one.  (All of the white Seasons Litter, who will be small-szied adults, are in foster homes).
