Mon 2nd Dec: Many happy memories of a great day

Getting ready
The Hong Kong Observatory weren't wrong when they predicted a sudden drop in temperature, which makes these many wonderful photos of Sunday's Pulse to Fun event even more memorable.  Starting with  Pulse To Fun 2019 - Starting Point  and walk itself  Pulse To Fun 2019 - The Walk  and moving on to the roof and indoor market
Pulse To Fun 2019 - Rooftop & Indoor Market — at the pulse
(Photos taken by Pulse 2 Fun Photography Team of Carol Chan, Eric Tang, Justin Lo, Jay Chan, Yvonne Chan).

Other than the volunteer photography team who did such a great job of capturing the dogs and humans particupants, I'd also like to say a big thank you to the route volunteers led as always by Sidney Mak.

It's one of the additional perks of joining the annual P2F event that you get wonderful photos to keep and cherish, as well as the fun of finding them amongst all of the other happy faces.

Although this big event is over for another year we have other opportunities to help and support coming up soon, and this year in particular we need you more than ever.
Details of the upcoming "challenge" will be posted soon so keep a lookout for that.

Puppy Freddie's adoption was quickly confirmed after he ws taken home on Sunday, and no surprises there as he's the cutest little guy ever.   The Whiskers N Paws adoptions were especially welcome as we have more young puppies arriving from AFCD and that means a need for foster homes PLEASE! You can contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com if you can help out.
Twiglet and Bongo

Little Yorkie Twiglet came back to our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre after a short post-surgery stay at Acorn after having knee surgery on both sides. We'd hoped the operation wouldn't be necessary but Dr Tony suggested it would be better to do it while Twiglet's still young at just three years.  She and another small dog, Bongo, have become close since coming to us from AFCD and we're hoping they'll be able to stay together in their new home.

There was finally good news for Chase the poodle as a weekend meeting went well and he's moved to a new home just in time for his family to say goodbye before leaving Hong Kong.
Romeo is waiting

I'm really surprised that French bulldog Romeo is still with us as this is always a popular breed and he's a very sweet boy. If you're interested in adopting any of our many dogs in waiting, please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

  1. It's so nice and refreshing to see such a great turnout for your event.
All the happy people showing big smiles with all the doggies at your event shows there is another side of HK that is normal.
