Tues 14th Feb: Living the life of Riley

Not everyone will understand what living the life of Riley means, but it's an English saying that means having the best and most comfortable life.  I know that's what's in store for puppy Riley, adopted today from Kennedy Town and now in a wonderful home where he'll be very happy I'm sure.

It wasn't until I saw the photos from the Whiskers N Paws puppy party that I realised how small the "M" puppies are, so if you're looking for a puppy that's not going to grow into a large sized adult, and you don't want a baby (like the ones staying at Elgin Street), then maybe the "M" litter will be just right for you.  They're staying at our Centre at 13-19 North Street, Kennedy Town, except Maya, who's currently in a foster home.

Melody and Mason

There have been so many potential adopters coming to meet the small adults at HKDR@Elgin, and I have a feeling that we're going to see the same situation as recently happened with Tompkins, when two families came for him at the same time.

Teddy

I really don't know why Teddy hasn't been chosen by now, because he's young, very happy and friendly, and with a coat that's suitable for people with allergies to regular dog hair.   Taurus sems to be on the verge of being adopted, with many return visits by potential families, and the same for Tawny.

We also have two poodles staying at Elgin Street, with Nacho being the oldest at nine years but still a very active little dog with a love of squeaky toys.  Nettie is a few years younger but she's not in as good a health condition as Nacho.
