It's really funny how things work, and how there seems to be a right time for a particular dog. I posted photos and details of terrier puppy Hudson on my blog yesterday, and on Facebook/Instagram, and the response was incredible. This little guy's photo has also been shared all over the place and I have been busy trying to reply to all of the enquiries and questionnaires. The funny aspect of this is that I've written about Hudson many times before, and shared his photo, but there has never been any interest.

I can be pretty sure that he will be in a new home soon, but for all of the many other potential adopters that won't be able to adopt Hudson, we have a whole litter of terrier-type puppies at our HKDR@Elgin location who are ready and waiting to meet their new families. This grid shows the heads of the twelve puppies that turned up out of the blue on Thursday, but please bear in mind they were taken as the puppies were being sorted and were completely bewildered by what was happening. They're for identification purposes only, and can't even begin to show how lovely the pups are in reality.
For example, one of the puppies, who's not a terrier-type, is Abby. She's shown at the bottom right of the grid, but you can't see that she's a bit older than the others and is definitely a little-big dog. By that I mean she has a long body with short legs, so basically the size and shape of a corgi. She's also incredibly sweet, as you can see in this video.
Amos has a very distinctive mask on his face and is really very cute. All except Ali will be small or medium sized as adults.
I'm hoping the weekend will be a busy one for adoptions, and I think I can safely predict Hudson at the top of that list.
All of our Homing Centres are open every single day from 10am to 6pm, but please complete the adoption questionnaire before visiting. It's at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/
