| Pretty little Laura |
I suspected it might be Laura's big day today, and sure enough she left the Whiskers N Paws Puppy Party to start her new family life, as recorded by Benjamin Po, our volunteer photographer for the event: Puppy Adoption Day 26th Feb 2023. You can see from the photo that Laura is not only very pretty, but like many of our current puppies she's also quite small. As a fully grown adult she won't be larger than medium size, and while we can't give a watertight guarantee I'm confident this is true.
I get many adoption enquiries for small-medium puppies, but with only named breeds considered. It's extremely sad that even the loveliest and sweetest of puppies are rejected because they don't come with a specific name tag, especially when you consider the cruelty of the breeding business and pet trade in general. There's definitely been a change in attitude over the years, but it's still far too slow for my liking.

Many of the puppies currently staying at our HKDR@Elgin location are medium sized, and while we're still waiting for a full set of photos you can always visit them in person.
