Mon 2nd Oct: A happily busy holiday

Budgie went home today
Holidays and Sundays are the busiest days for adoptions, and today was no exception.  Puppy Budgie could have been adopted many times over, but as there is just one of her that wasn't possible.  Her new family have adopted a Tai Po dog from us before, who they still have, so we know that Budgie is in good hands.
I'm so happy for sweet Esme

Shih tzu Esme also went to a home that has other ex-HKDR dogs, all the same breed, and the photo we received when Esme  got home to join the others is very sweet.

Another pom arrived, the third of three from a breeder via a volunteer who rescued them, and I'm going to be busy on Tuesday getting all of the remaining new dogs to AFCD and Acorn.  Those that have already been taken for fostering or adopted will have to be dealt with on another day, as well as the ten schnauzers that we are expecting on Wednesday.   I'll have to get busy thinking up names again!
This new pom girl is 9 years old

The happiest news for me came from Tai Po where lookalike Carter and new girl Jammy went home together.  When their photos had been posted on Facebook a few days ago I had said it would be amazing if they could go to the same home, and that's just what happened so I'm thrilled to bits.
Such a happy double adoption!

There was more very happy news with the confirmation of foster doglet Edward as being adopted, and I have to thank his now ex-fosters for being so patient with Edward's timid behaviour.
Relax Edward, you're staying in your home for ever
