Sun 12th March: Moving out too slowly

On Monday mornings I have to go through the photos from Whiskers N Paws to see if I can add names to all of the puppies, but there are so many that look alike I'm still totally confused.  There's the Bruno, Bonzo, Bizzy etc litter of big and beautiful babies, and although face to face I know who they are when it comes to identifying them from photos it's almost impossible.  The new litter from AFCD Shatin are all exactly the same too, so if you are interested in any of them please send me a photo.  They're all here and all fantastic puppies: Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) added 109 new photos to the album Puppy Adoption Day 12 March 2017 — at Whiskers N Paws (and thanks to Jimmy Tsang for being today's volunteer photographer).

Saucer has a second chance
Saucer was one of the two lucky pups today, and it was actually her second time as she was returned from her first home after being declared too active.  Now she will live by a beach where she can run and play and we were very clear to explain her energy levels, so I really hope the message was taken to heart and understood.
Dana joins big sister Melanie and family

Dana was taken for a trial with ex-HKDR Tai Po dog Melanie last Sunday, and everything has worked out fine so she had her adoption confirmed today.

Belle was one of five pups who was in AFCD with their mother, and went straight to foster homes when I took them at four weeks of age.  She's the first to be chosen for a trial, and so far everything is going really well.
Look at how happy Belle looks!

Baby shiba inu Chips (the other puppy was called Fish) had her adoption confirmed too, although she wasn't there to meet up again with her brother (or did I mix the genders up?).
Shiba inu puppy Chips is staying

Due to having so many new arrivals at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre I had to bring a whole load of puppies who had been staying there back to Lamma at the end of the afternoon, and there are now far too many for the space I have.  Please please can we have some more foster homes for the lovely youngsters?  Contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com if you can help, thank you.

Shiba inu Yoshi was the lucky boy who was chosen to go home from Ap Lei Chau, but there are many more still waiting including our "flock" of poms.
