Weds 10th Jan: Other things on my mind

There seems to be a mid-week lull in visitors and enquiries, although there are always at least a few potential adopters coming to meet the dogs.  It's the only downside to having dogs in foster homes, that they aren't immediately available to meet if anyone come to the Homing Centres, but it's a price that's definitely worth paying because the benefits of home care easily outweigh anything else.

Enzo as he looks now

We currently have Instagram puppies living the good life @why_i_foster (Enzo and shy Bertie),  gorgeous Finn @foster_pawtatoes, and siblings Dimple and Dudley @pawfect_foster_diary.

Finn's siblings Fergus and Flora are also in foster care but without an Instagram account to share, while Emma and Eccles can be followed @foster_pawrent_diary.

Edgar became Emma (Elfie is no longer available)

Making it simple to meet all of the puppies in one place at the same time, you can come to Whiskers N Paws in Horizon Plaza, Ap Leu Chau, any Sunday between 2pm and 4pm, for the regular Puppy Party. Of course everything and anything you need to buy for a new puppy is available right there, along with delicious food at the Cafe while you're thinking about which pup to adopt.

You might guess from recent posts that I have had other things on my mind, meaning the potential new Homing Centre for the smaller dogs and puppies that currently stay in the two Kennedy Town locations.  We were there today with contractors trying to get cost estimates, as well as planning layouts.  Assuming - and hoping - that this dream will become a reality, it should be the last time that we'll be having to do all of this, at least in my lifetime.
