Fri 5th Jan: We always need towel donations

Westie Pringle has a friend to play with

It's honestly a relief when a very popular puppy is adopted, because while still available they draw attention away from others.  Of course we make sure the homes are what we want for any of our dogs, and in the case of the Westie pup,  the family already have an ex-HKDR adoptee and a ready-made friend for Pringle.  It's lovely to know that after spending so many months at AFCD kennels, any puppy will finally be able to socialise and play.

Dickie is actually a very small dog

New boy Dickie was also adopted, and while in the photo he looks quite big, in reality he's a tiny dog.

There has been some activity behind the scenes with some of the puppies in foster, and I think that the two smallest ones won't need to be at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday.   Foster pup Filly was also adopted, so here are the Instagram pages with puppies still waiting:

There will be another puppy party at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday where you can meet many of the hopefuls in person, otherwise please contact our Foster Coordinator Cindy to arrange meetings at any time by mutual agreement with the foster parents.

I keep forgetting to make one small request, and that's for towel donations.  I don't know about the other Homing Centres, but the dogs on Lamma seem to love ripping the towels into shreds, and we're always in need of more.  We used to get large donations of towels from hotels but that seems to have stopped, so if you have any that you no longer need or want, especially larger ones, please send to any of our Centres.  Thank you!
