Irma's very happy to be in a home |
There was so much happening today, with Irma the young Malamute being picked up from AFCD and another puppy arriving at our Kennedy Town Centre. He's now called Crispin.
Wilbur was just too young to make it |
There was also a newborn found abandoned with two of his siblings, both of whom were already dead. Thanks to our wonderful network of foster parents with experience of bottle feeding and caring for such young and helpless pups, Wilbur was taken in by the afternoon after the Kennedy Town team had nursed him for the first hours. However he was already too weak, and despite being rushed to Concordia in the middle of the night, Wilbur's life ended before it had even really begun. Life can be cruel and unfair, and sadly so can people.
Kibble found his family today |
There was much happier news for the day, with the adoption of puppy Kibble in the morning, followed by Fergus finding his forever family later in the day at Whiskers N Paws. Eric Tang was today's photographer, and I'm just waiting for the photos to be uploaded so you can enjoy what I know will be wonderful shots of the available puppies.
Another puppy was taken home from Kennedy Town North Street Centre, and this was Dasha, the white shiba inu boy. He's going to have to be accepted by the resident ex-HKDR dog before his adoption can be confirmed, but hopefully we won't be seeing him again.
