Mon 1st Jan 2024: Happy New Year!

I'm always a day behind because obviously I can't write about what happened until it has taken place, but it seems strange to be saying Happy New Year when we're already on the second day of January.  That's good news for us as we anticipate a return to work as normal, and everyone who said they would be adopting after the holidays will hopefully be in touch very soon.

Denji and Chika have been adopted

We did have quite a lot of visitors to the Kennedy Town North Street Centre to meet the shibas that are still available. and we have four more due to come to us from the breeder as soon as it can be arranged. Three of these are adults, two of whom are the black variety, with one puppy boy.

As a reminder, the shibas already with us are all young, with only Santa (from AFCD) being older at five years.   Please note that the first group of ex-breeder shibas will be going to Acorn in the afternoon (Tuesday), so if you want to meet them you will have to come in the morning, or Wednesday.

Diesel

Although you don't need to make an appointment to visit the Homing Centres if you have already completed the adoption questionnaire and have been invited to meet the dogs, it's usually best to check that the dogs you're interested in won't be at the vet.  We have Diesel the Jack Russell and Kit the poodle booked for Tuesday morning, so they'll be out all day.

I've been waiting for the photos from Sunday's Puppy Party to be processed so I can share them here today, but I can't wait any longer as there are other important things to be done.  Please be sure to check bac tomorrow so you can see the puppies that are available.
