One of the AFCD puppies, a boy

All of the puppies turned up today, three from one source and three from AFCD Sheung Shui, along with the ear-less dog.  We were going to call him Julius, but after seeing how much fun he was having with the water hose and a bucket, he's now officially Bucket.  He's an incredibly happy boy, especially now that he's free from his horrible past, so from now on we can just look ahead to a new life and hopefully a wonderful home very soon.  He's a big and strong boy so we'd only let him go to an appropriate home that can provide space, proper exercise and positive training.  Take a look at the video to see how happy Bucket is:

Our other big boy, Alaskan malamute Toffee, left Tai Po today for a trial adoption to see how he gets on, so I won't post his adoption photo quite yet.

We're lucky and extremely grateful to have so many dedicated and kind supporters, including the Shu Family Bakery, a small family business  based in Happy Valley, who donate all sales proceeds to HKDR. Please take a look at their website for details of the delicious and very tempting array of pastries and other baked goods on offer.
