Sun 2nd Aug: Six Water Babies arrive, and leave

It was non-stop all day today, including the arrival of six baby pups that had been rescued after the heavy rainfall on Saturday night.  Every time another one was found after the initial three, our Foster Coordinator Cindy had to find an additional foster home, and when all survivors were delivered to Tai Po Homing Centre we had three fosters waiting.  I'd already decided on names so we'll always know the story behind these lucky little ones.  Huge thanks to all involved, especially the rescuer.

It was also a very busy day at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre with several puppies being adopted.  Sisters Esme and Ruby were both chosen (by different families), while tiny Lulu and small-sized Lotto also left to start their respective new lives.

We may be getting a large number of small dogs coming in on Tuesday so please remember to check if you're interested in adopting, but at this point nothing is 100% confirmed.  I can tell you however that like many of our small dogs these aren't any particular breed, they're a mix of this and that and nothing really specific.

Pretty girl Tammy was today's lucky Tai Po dog, one of so many beautiful young adults waiting to be chosen to become a family member.
