Sat 8th Feb: Happy adoption day for Rennie

Rennie (l) and his new brother
Yet another lucky boy left our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre today to start a new life with his own family, and this time it was sweet Rennie.  He had arrived at the same time as Mikki, now adopted and with the new name of Dolly, and although shy at first Rennie soon settled in.  It helps that there are lots of other dogs and puppies to play with at the Homing Centre, and it also makes a big difference that Rennie has a ready-made friend to teach him the ropes in his new home.
Mikki and Rennie arrived together

Meanwhile over at Tai Po we took in a Doberman that had been found in a remote part of Sai Kung, where he had presumably been abandoned.  He's a sweet dog but already almost eleven years old, and while he has a registered owner and it would be lovely to think that person would be prosecuted, I know it won't happen.  Why?  Because it never happens, even when the evidence is right there and as clear as day, and it's something that really upsets and infuriates me.  For now the Doberman is safe at least, and we will see what AFCD comes up with but I won't be holding my breath for the owner to appear.

We'll be at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday as always, but please note the time will be shortened to 2pm until 4pm, as the store will be closing earlier than normal.  However two hours should be plenty of time to have lunch and then come to meet the lovely puppies before choosing the one (or even maybe two) you will be taking home with you.  As a reminder here are the photos from last Sunday's puppy party  Puppy Adoption Day 2 February 2020., and there are also more new arrivals who'll be staying put at our own Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre (the Zodiac Litter).
Please note the time change of 2pm to 4pm
