Fri 14th Feb: Let's find a home for Rio

Rio is a small-medium size and 9 months old
Due to the current shortened opening hours of Whiskers N Paws, we brought store-resident puppies Rio and Tiger back to our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre for the duration of this period.  Tiger has a home anyway and will soon be moving in with his new family, so I wanted to talk a bit about Rio in the hope that it will give her the boost that she needs.
Rio's favourite game

Rio is a fantastic doglet, not really a puppy so much any more, small-medium sized, fun-loving and with a happy and gregarious personality.  She has loads of energy so would be perfect for an active couple or family, and she loves water!  She's social and great with other dogs, even puppies, as well as children and she's all ready to go meaning she's fully vaccinated, licensed and desexed.  All that's missing is the home.  If you think Rio sounds like your kind of dog, please complete the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

Of course we have lots of other puppies available for adoption, and you can meet them on Sunday at Whiskers N Paws, remembering that the hours are 2pm to 4pm for the moment.  Please come early so you can spend time with the puppies before choosing.

If you can't come on Sunday you can still meet many puppies at our own Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre which remains open as usual every single day from 10am to 6pm, the same as our Tai Po Homing Centre.
All these puppies are waiting at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre

We're still waiting for full information and an official surrender from the owner of the doberman, Bamboo, who was found wandering.  In the meantime we need a new home, foster or permanent, for Bamboo.  He's a very sweet dog, good with chidren and fully toilet trained, and as a senior more of a couch potato than anything else but he is best suited to being in a home where he's the only dog.  Please email Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com if you can offer a space in your home to this boy.
Bamboo is 10+ years old
