Sat 1st Feb: Another month begins

Byebye Bentley!

Bentley was today's lucky Ap Lei Chau dog, a very sweet bichon frise who seems to be very happy in his new home. 

There was finally movement at Tai Po too, as one young dog, an ex-Ap Lei Chau puppy, was taken for a trial with our very special ex-Tai Po boy Stan (now Arthur).  No names yet as always, but I hope she'll soon become Arthur's official sister.

The lower-than-usual adoption numbers for January were expected given everything that's been going on, but still twenty six happy dogs and puppies found their forever homes during the month.

Foster Home:

I hope we'll see lots of people at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday, as we'll be there with all of the puppies needing homes.  As I know quite a few employers have closed their offices for a while and children are still off school, it's a great time to foster a puppy and we have several returning from their current foster homes.  If you can take in a puppy on a temporary basis please contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com.  We will provide everything you need including food, bed, bowls and toys, so there's nothing needed except your time and some space in your home.
