Chester is a sweet and affectionate young doglet |
The only downside to sending dogs or puppies to foster care is that sometimes they have to come back rather than make that move to a forever home, and right now that applies to two of our doglets who have become great friends through meeting on Sundays at Whiskers N Paws. I'm talking about Dorothy and Chester, who for whatever reason really seem to like each other and play non-stop when they're together.
Baby Dorothy is the only one left |
It's hard for the foster parents who have so diligently come to every adoption event in the hope that their puppies will be chosen, and for all of us who have watched (in this case) Dorothy and Chester grow from young babies to doglets. Most of all it's going to be very hard for both of them to suddenly find themselves homeless and without the humans they have come to regard as their family.
Dorothy has been taught all house rules by her foster parent |
If you are thinking about adopting a dog, please ask to meet Chester and Dorothy so you can see for yourself what great characters they are.
Dorothy and Chester love each other |
Dorothy (AVID*603*300*383) and Chester (AVID*603*279*583) are very sweet doglets who are lucky enough to have been staying in their respective foster homes for some time.
Now their foster time is coming to an end and that means both Dorothy and Chester will have nowhere to go except the Tai Po Homing Centre unless they can find homes very quickly.
If dreams could come true this pair would be adopted together as they clicked as soon as they met and have played every Sunday afternoon since then. However we know that may not be possible and they will probably have to meet up when they can.
Dorothy is slightly older than Chester (by a month) and is already desexed, while Chester, being a boy, has yet to have that little operation.
Both are very loving and affectionate characters who love to run and play but are also happy to just chill at home.
If you can offer Dorothy or Chester (or both maybe?) a home for life, please contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com or complete the Adoption Questionnaire on our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/
